Out of all the kinds of creatures out there in the world, we know the least about sea creatures. The ocean is so deep and vast that knowing everything inside of it is impossible. Who knows if we will ever actually find every type of creature that's out there? That's why when we get to see creatures like this, it's truly a blessing.
Nobody knows what the name of this little guy is, because there is no name for it. This octopus has existed for who knows how long, and researchers at the Monterey Bay Aquarium are hard at work studying this new-to-us little creature. We think it's adorable, and love when new animals like this one are discovered because it means there's so much more left to find out about our planet.
