It's shockingly easy to turn a blind eye to homelessness. Not only is it easy to ignore the fact that 3.5 million people experience homelessness every year, but it's also easy to literally not make eye contact with someone who needs a little help. You walk right past them, barely acknowledging their existence, just because you don't want to be guilted into sparing a little change.
Chris Long and William Hayes of the St. Louis Rams know that homelessness is a very real problem. The two football players decided to see what it was like living on the street, and documented their efforts. What they were most surprised by, was what happened in their own community - full of people who idolize these two and their team.
