When a Christian entertainment group partnered with an organization called Camp Shining Stars, they were able to pull together and show their great generosity to one fortunate individual. Shining Stars director Jessica reached out to the entertainment group called Sonset Friday with an idea to serve the homeless. At the beginning of the video, Jessica explains that it's important to serve as a collective body.
The footage was taken on July 26, 2014 at Union Station in Washington D.C. After a brief introduction, cameras pan to a homeless woman huddled in a corner of a building with only a couple of belongings. Sonset Friday host Anthony Hackett is the first to approach the homeless woman. He greets her, Bible in hand, and then proceeds to pray for her. What follows after this initial encounter is a huge outpouring of love and generosity.
