Before Mary's makeover on The Tyra Banks Show, she stood in front of the crowd as they guessed her age. Dressed in a white gown with hair draping down to her feet, audience members figured Mary was somewhere around 40 years old. Much to their surprise, she revealed that she was just 23 years of age. The crowd was stunned, but Tyra promised to deliver a makeover that would have Mary looking her age.
It was rather difficult for Mary to part with her long hair, but once the initial cut was made there was no going back. Based solely on the audiences' reaction, the makeover was a success!
