Like many young people, Lauren had a five-year plan. Unfortunately, her father passed away and she needed to get a job to support her family. Education was very important to Lauren and her family, but she could no longer pursue college and her dreams of being a lawyer when she had to raise money to support her relatives. She began working as a receptionist at a spa, but it seemed that her dreams of being a lawyer were over.

People have told Lauren that since she has a job, she is ahead in life. But she doesn't feel this way. She still wanted to fulfill her dream of going to college, so her brother decided that he was going to make things right. He organized a huge surprise party for her, but the biggest surprise was what he arranged for her as a gift. This is such an inspirational story, and truly shows the power of family.
