Social experiments are always so fascinating to watch; they often highlight phenomena in our society that we don't always have the eyes to see. I've learned a lot of shocking lessons from watching social experiments; they can have a huge impact on individual perspective when powerful enough. The footage from this social experiment is another one of those shocking lessons that everyone, especially women should be aware of.

Joey Salads is a YouTuber who films pranks and social experiments for his YouTube channel JoeySalads. In one of his latest experiments, Salads sets up cameras at an outdoor bar and films himself starting up conversations with strangers and drugging women's drinks. The message behind Salads' experiment is to show just how easy it is for a person to get roofied.

The video begins with Salads talking to a man and a woman sitting next to him at the bar. When the girl gets up to go to the bathroom she asks her friend to watch her drink, but as soon as she leaves, her friend turns the other way and Salads drops a drug into her drink. All of the instances documented in this experiment show the ease in which Salads is able to drug the random women, it's so simple that anyone could do it.

Salads didn't let any of the women take a drink of their drugged cocktail. Many of the parties he interacted with were shocked at how they didn't know he'd drugged their drink. As a woman, I consider this a very important and powerful lesson. Because of this video, I'll be keeping a closer eye on my drink next time I go out to a bar.
