Southern Raised is a Christian Bluegrass band composed of three sisters and their brother. Lindsay, Sarah, Emily Grace all began playing the violin at a young age, while Matthew started on the cello. When they were younger they often performed together - primarily classical music but eventually they began experimenting with acoustic. They have now blended the two styles and call it "ethereal." Southern Raised has made a splash in the music scene and has captivated audiences of all ages. They've created six albums since coming together and recently worked with Grammy Award winner Bil VornDick.
Lindsay, Sarah, Emily Grace, and Matthew dedicated their music - their passion - to the Lord, “He is the reason we sing, the passion that burns, the cause we carry and the One we love! We thank Him for allowing us the honor to share His message with the world!” For the past few years, the band has been doing just that and they've been succeeding - earning a plethora of nominations and awards.
Below the talented family performs a classic, "What A Day That Will Be." The talent oozes from each and every one of them, their instruments harmonizing perfectly with their voices.
