Bullying. Why does it happen? What can we do to stop it? It's an epidemic that's tearing families apart and causing community uproar all across the nation.  This particular story is of a woman named Amy Briggs and her son Daniel, who struggled with bullying most of his life.

Statistics on bullying vary, but figures show that roughly 3.2 million students are victims of bullying nationwide. In Daniel's case, the bullying was so severe that he felt there was only one way for him to escape the pain. In the end, it was a text message that was Daniel's final straw. Though a text may seem like dormant lines of letters, in this instance, they proved too much for him to bear.

We here at SFG wanted to share this video to show how words, texts, and actions can have a more severe impact than perhaps people realize. We want to see an end to bullying so that not a single mother will have to go through the same pain Amy did. You can help by spreading this powerful story.
