A trucker had a brush with disaster as he began choking while driving his 18-wheeler. He was able to successfully pull over to the side of the road and put on his hazard lights, but the driver was unable to call anybody for help. Luckily, a kind called the police, but emergency responders were unsure exactly what they'd find when they opened the door.
Eventually, three separate emergency response agencies arrived on the scene, and they worked together to save the wounded trucker. The driver had been unable to breathe for several minutes, but after he was rescued he was placed into medical care and is now in a stable recovery.
