Thanks to yet another Ellen giveaway, this military wife received a surprise that brought her to tears. At the beginning of the show, Ellen announced her appreciation for all those serving their country and invited Cari Curtis, whose husband is currently serving as part of the Army Special Forces, to the stage. Curtis had no idea that she was going to be on camera, but excitedly bounded down the stairs towards Ellen, unaware of what was in store. Curtis told the audience that her husband would be coming home for the holidays, but that they weren't getting each other gifts this year, choosing instead to focus on getting small things for their kids. Ellen wanted to change that for the Curtis family, so she awarded them two gift cards to use as spending money to make this Christmas their best yet.
