Jackie Evancho first turned heads with her angelic voice on the fifth season of America's Got Talent. Only 10 years old during her stint on the show, everyone found it hard to believe that such a powerful soprano voice could emanate from such a tiny girl. Now 15, she's a successful classical crossover singer with best-selling CDs, DVDs, international concerts, and even a debut acting role playing Robert Redford's daughter, there's no denying that Jackie Evancho is a timeless talent we'll be hearing from for years to come.
Watch as she performs "The Prayer" back in 2012 alongside Josh Page, a young man who comprises one-third of the Forte Tenors singing group. Also a former contestant of America's Got Talent, the prodigious Mr. Page first put himself on the map with his impromptu "fan" duet during one of Josh Groban's live shows at Madison Square Garden. However, listening to him sing "The Prayer" with Jackie Evancho is more chillingly beautiful than anything; their classic voices blend together flawlessly for a truly perfect rendition of an already-gorgeous song.
Here at SF Globe, we were utterly mesmerized (and find it hard to believe that a voice like that could come from a 11 year old!) What did you think? Had you heard of either of these singers before? Sound off in the comments below and make sure to share if you found Jackie and Josh's performance as stunning as we did.
