There's nothing better than seeing someone take something that is old and deteriorated and restoring it with some of its original charm. Gas stations aren't exactly the pick of the crop when it comes to house hunting, but that's what makes this gas station home so special.

Robert Guthrie knew exactly what he wanted when he chose to look for a new home, and he found everything and more in a rundown gas station outside the French Quarter in New Orleans. In the video, Guthrie says that his son thought he was crazy when he decided to buy it, but Guthrie already had a vision in his mind of what he wanted the inside to be. I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say all of Guthrie's hard work and determination paid off in the most beautiful way.
