4th of July celebrations often involve store-bought sparklers, grill accessories, and American flag-themed everything. However, it's not necessary to spend an arm and a leg in order to have a festive 4th. Watch as the creative ladies from What's Up Moms demonstrate three easy DIYs to add a bit more pizzazz to your summer party, including flag-motif mason jar planters, confetti poppers, and fan centerpieces to liven up any picnic table.

Our personal favorite is the patriotic mason jars: such a simple concept using only a few materials (and you don't need to be an artistic genius to pull it off either). We think Betsy Ross would be proud! Would you try any of these at home? What are your favorite ways to celebrate the 4th of July? Sound off in the comments below and make sure to share if you found these DIYs as clever as we did.
